Operation: You Can’t Go Home (Nomad Edition)

I’ve moved 3 times since leaving the “house formerly known as home” – a way stop at my parents’ for 3 weeks until I moved into the snowbird’s for 5 months and  then back to my parents’ for (hopefully only) 5 months. Operation: You Can’t Go Home

Closing time… you don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here…

Now that I’ve firmly planted that earworm, let me explain. I have been living in the house formerly known as “home” for a while now. The agreement was that I would leave when I bought a house or October 1st, whichever came first. Anyone who’s read my “Realtor.com is Tinder for Houses” post knows how the house hunt went (is going). Tuckered out and tucking in

After a long day of fits and starts, and a wonderful family meal at my parents, Aaron and I are spending our first night in our new home. There is still a car-load left to move from New Gloucester and dozens of boxes to unpack, but we are officially here and not there, and that was our goal.
